Your house is not haunted
Your house is not haunted, and that is a finding rather than a reassurance. In 2014 Olaf Blanke's group manufactured the feeling of a presence in healthy people: a blindfolded participant moved a lever, a robot reproduced the movement against their back, and a half-second delay was enough that one in three felt someone standing behind them — two asked for the experiment to stop. Nobody was ever in the room with them. What this record describes is that effect imposed rather than induced: phantom sensations across every sense, and visuals reproducing what a haunting is supposed to look like. The terror is the mechanism — a household driven outside will accept help from whoever is waiting, and what this record says waits there is a facilitator of Zersetzung tactics and a suggestion of euthanasia.
